Workshop Machines

In the swiss steam centre are many work machines, which are working directly or indirectly with power from a steam engine.
In particular, special pumps are driven directly. Indirectly via transmissions, mainly factory and workshop machines are supplied with motive power. They first drew their power from water wheels and water turbines. This central power supply was also increasingly taken over by steam engines in the water-rich Switzerland.
